He became the newspaper publisher for the Middleburg Post and Selinsgrove Times from 1984 to 1991, ensuring his community remained informed of the most important local news and national updates on a weekly basis. This role marked a turning point in his career, allowing him to explore the power of storytelling and connect with others through writing.
