She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science at the City University of New York's Lehman College in 2020, following her initial attendance at the City University of New York's Bronx Community College from 2012 to 2016. She furthered her education by earning a Master of Science in nursing administration from Chamberlain University in 2023, where she is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. These academic achievements have been instrumental in her professional growth, allowing her to transition into more specialized roles within the hospital setting.

Throughout her career, Ms. Whitter has been actively involved in several professional organizations that support the nursing community. She is a member of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the New York Black Nurses Association, as well as the Omicron Chapter Inc. Chi Eta Phi Sorority Incorporated. Ms. Whitter's leadership skills were previously recognized when she served as the financial secretary and currently serves as the chair of the Nominating Committee for the sorority's Omicron Chapter.

Ms. Whitter's dedication extends beyond her professional responsibilities to include significant civic engagement. She has volunteered and participated in various organizations, such as Icon House Shelter, through these affiliations, including initiatives like health fairs, coat drives, and scholarship programs.
