Mr. Baker has established a distinguished career in the food and hospitality industry, marked by his current role as director of stewarding at Omni Hotels & Resorts, which he has held since 2024.

Mr. Baker has established a distinguished career in the food and hospitality industry, marked by his current role as director of stewarding at Omni Hotels & Resorts, which he has held since 2024. With over three decades of experience, he expertly manages a team of approximately 25 individuals, overseeing the food and beverage areas to ensure cleanliness and maintain high standards of safety and sanitation. His responsibilities include managing inventory, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various teams to deliver exceptional service.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Baker served as the executive steward and director of stewarding at The Biltmore Miami-Coral Gables from 2022 to 2024. His leadership was instrumental in maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence. Before that, he was the general manager for dining accounts at Fresno City College and Madera College, State Center Community College District, under Taher Incorporated from 2019 to 2022, where he honed his skills in managing large-scale dining operations.

From 2016 to 2019, Mr. Baker held dual roles as co-director of retail dining and director of catering with Compass Group at Yale University & Yale New Haven Heath (YNHH). His tenure at Sodexo, from 2015 to 2016, as director of catering and retail cafe operations, further solidified his expertise in catering and retail dining. From 2013 to 2015, he directed operations for dining services at Tulane University, where he played a pivotal role in organizing food services for the university's newly constructed Yulman football stadium, showcasing the cuisine of New Orleans.

Mr. Baker's career began with Guckenheimer in Los Angeles where he quickly advanced to become a food service director at the Hilton World Headquarters in Beverly Hills at the age of 24. His early experiences laid the foundation for his future success in the industry. He tenured for five years with Bon Appétit Management Company out of San Francisco and he also served as general manager for Sony Pictures Studios' dining services, demonstrating his ability to manage complex and dynamic operations.

Mr. Baker studied coursework in business administration with a focus on management and financial markets at San José State University. He also pursued coursework at De Anza College and culinary arts studies at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. His academic background has been instrumental in his ability to navigate the complexities of the hospitality industry.

Several certifications, including ServSafe food protection manager from the National Restaurant Association, certified professional catering executive from the National Association for Catering and Events (CPCA), and certified dietary manager (CDM) complement Mr. Baker's professional achievements. These credentials underscore his commitment to maintaining high standards in food safety and catering excellence.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Baker is actively involved in civic organizations, including the Dallas/Fort Worth Tennis Association and DeAnza Racquet & Athletic Club. He is also a sponsor and mentor with The Association of Junior Leagues International Tennis Inc., reflecting his dedication to community engagement. In recognition of his contributions, he received a regional award for best food truck initiative at Tulane University in 2015, the first university in the nation to accept student swipe payment from school ID cards.

In his personal life, Mr. Baker enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym and spending time with his sons, Dylan Reese and Caleb. Looking ahead, he envisions advancing within Omni Hotels & Resorts as a director of food and beverage or potentially overseeing multiple venues as an area director of stewarding. His aspirations reflect his ongoing commitment to excellence in hospitality management.
