Prior to his time at Novo Nordisk, Mr. Fehr honed his expertise in agile project management, soft skills training and leadership development while working as the quality systems training manager at Pharmaceutical Associates Inc., manager of global learning solutions at Baxter and senior quality systems training manager at Pfizer Inc. Each of his roles has further cemented his reputation as a leading coach and mentor in adult learning and professional growth.

Mr. Fehr's career began with a robust foundation in the United States Navy, where he served as a decorated crew chief/navy rescue swimmer until 1993. This experience instilled in him a "never-give-up" mindset that has been pivotal throughout his professional journey. Following his military service, he embarked on a path in the pharmaceutical industry progressing from the shop floor to his longstanding position as senior manager of technology and training development at Miles Laboratories, Bayer, Talecris Biotherapeutics and Talecris Plasma Resources from 1993 to 2009. That early experience helped him excel in roles such as manager of medical governance and assurance at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and training lead at Merck's vaccines production facility in Durham.

To expand on his work experience, Mr. Fehr earned a Master of Education in adult education and performance development from North Carolina State University in 2009, a Bachelor of Science in organizational development and management from the University of Mount Olive in 2004 and an Associate of Science in emergency management from Wilson Technical Community College in 1999. In addition to his academic achievements, he holds several certificates that underscore his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. He is certified in market research foundations by Linkedln, had his paramedic certification from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and is designated as a Lean Six Sigma black belt by Villanova University.

Mr. Fehr's dedication extends beyond his professional endeavors to include significant civic involvement. He volunteered as a paramedic and held various leadership roles including being the chief of Clayton Area Rescue/EMS for nearly two decades and serving as the Johnston County Rescue Association president for multiple years. Additionally, he has contributed to Habitat for Humanity, demonstrating his steadfast commitment to enhancing the lives and communities of individuals and families in need.

Happily married and a proud father of one son, Mr. Fehr enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, playing Pokemon Go and having fun with their five dogs.
