Prior to joining Hartford Health Care, Dr. Juneja served as a vascular surgeon at Danbury Hospital from 2022 to 2024. During this time, he honed his skills in vascular surgery and contributed significantly to patient care and surgical outcomes. He also takes part in clinical outcomes research, which involves examining real-world patient outcomes achieved through new technologies and weighing their benefits. His commitment to research breakthroughs was recognized when he was named Surgical Scholar of the Year in 2020.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Juneja is a podcast host for AngioPod, where he shares insights and developments in the field of vascular surgery with a global audience. His involvement with professional organizations such as the Society for Vascular Surgery, the New England Society for Vascular Surgery and recognition as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons further underscores his longstanding dedication to advancing the industry.

Dr. Juneja's robust academic journey laid a strong foundation for his medical achievements. He completed a doctoral fellowship at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine in 2022 and a residency as a general surgeon at Staten Island University Hospital in 2020. In addition to gaining valuable early experience as an observer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and through residencies at Fortis Memorial Research Institute and Manipal Teaching Hospital, he earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Manipal College of Medical Sciences in 2012.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Juneja is actively involved in volunteer outreach activities, reflecting his dedication to civic engagement and community service. His contributions have been recognized with several accolades over the years, including the Reviewer Recognition from Elsevier in 2019 and Resident Educator of the Year at Staten Island University Hospital in 2017.
