Concurrent with his role, he was the director of engineering at HaA Design from 2001 to 2004, where he oversaw projects across Boston, San Francisco, Taiwan and Korea and a director of engineering at Integen Inc.

Mr. Lepke's early career was marked by pivotal roles that laid the groundwork for his future success. As a principal mechanical engineer at Cyrix, National Semiconductor and Internet Appliance Network from 1998 to 2001, he gained invaluable experience in the consumer electronics sector. His foundational roles were as a mechanical engineer, mechanical engineering consultant and CAD engineer at Digital, Compaq, HP Notebook Computers and Ciba-Corning.

Educationally, Mr. Lepke's background includes coursework in mechanical engineering, business and mathematics at the University of Connecticut. Complementing his classroom work, he holds certifications in ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 from NQA and is FDA compliant.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lepke has been driven by personal trials that have fueled his determination to improve the lives of others. His dedication to his community is evident in his pro bono work and involvement with civic-minded organizations aimed at addressing challenges faced by underserved communities. He is particularly passionate about enhancing health care facilities for the elderly and reducing unnecessary hardships through innovative solutions.

Among Mr. Lepke's notable achievements is the development of the Air Protect side impact system for car seats with Safety 1st, which has saved countless children's lives. Additionally, he created the OARtrac system in collaboration with MD Anderson in 2018, earning global recognition with the MedTech Engineering Breakthrough Award. His pioneering work on a one-needle device for hemodialysis has also made a significant impact, reducing infection rates for patients.
