Dr. Gershon's expertise further expanded during his tenure at The PNC Financial Services Group Inc., where he held various roles, including branch financial sales consultant II from 2013 to 2014, in-store financial sales consultant between 2015 and 2016, and branch sales and service associate and assistant manager from 2016 to 2019.

Pivotal in shaping his career path, Dr. Gershon received a bachelor's degree in business communications in 2010 and a master's degree in psychology in 2012 from the University of Phoenix. Subsequently, he earned a Doctor of Psychology in wellness psychology from the University of Arizona Global Campus in 2025. Dr. Gershon's degrees have equipped him with a diverse skill set that he applies across various professional endeavors.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Gershon is actively engaged as a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. He is also involved with the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and Tau Upsilon Alpha. Furthermore, Dr. Gershon is a generous donor to various organizations, including the Rainbow Youth Project, The Trevor Project and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Dr. Gershon's contributions extend beyond his professional and civic engagements into creative publications and projects. He authored "El-Zohar: Tales of the Faithful" in 2012 and "Wellness Strategies to Support Mental Health Among Transgender U.S. Service Members" in 2025.
