Ms. Edmond has established a remarkable career in community-based programming and youth development, currently serving as the Senior Director of Programs at Police Athletic League Inc. since 2025. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the quality, performance, and strategic direction of PAL's citywide network of youth development programs. In this role, she ensures that all contractual obligations with government agencies, private funders, and individual donors are met. Ms. Edmond's dedication to serving the community is evident in her efforts to offer programs from early morning until late at night, partnering with the NYC Department of Education and Department of Youth and Community Development to provide Saturday Night Live programs.

Before her current position, Ms. Edmond was the Director of Programs for the Center Operations Unit at Police Athletic League Inc. from 2018 to 2025. Her leadership skills were also honed during her tenure as the organization's field director of teen programming between 2016 and 2018, where she focused on developing initiatives that engaged teenagers in meaningful activities. Earlier, Ms. Edmond served as a project coordinator from 2010 to 2016 in Queens, New York. Ms. Edmond's career at Police Athletic League Inc. began in 2010 as a project coordinator, progressing continuously into the roles of interim center director, program manager for center operations, and site supervisor for the Breukelen Community Center and Public School 277.

Ms. Edmond's unwavering commitment to youth development was also evident during her time as a program coordinator at Samyook Language Institute in Seoul, South Korea, in 2009. Earlier, she excelled as a researcher and educator, and then served as program manager of the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program within the African Diaspora Department (formerly African American Studies) at John Jay College, City University of New York, from 2003 to 2008.

Instrumental to her success, Ms. Edmond earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2007, followed by a Master of Public Administration in Operations and Human Resources Management from John Jay College. These educational accomplishments, along with her faith in God, have provided her with a strong foundation for her work in nonprofit management and youth programming. Her faith is a driving force behind her commitment to public service and her dedication to making a positive impact on her community.

Ms. Edmond is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, which underscores her commitment to professional development and excellence. In addition to her professional endeavors, she is actively involved in civic activities and charitable work. She volunteers for food and clothing drives through various charity organizations and contributes her time to local church initiatives. Ms. Edmond's commitment to public service extends to volunteering for an elected official, demonstrating her dedication to making a positive impact on her community.

Ms. Edmond's contributions have been recognized with several accolades, most notably being named one of the 100 Black Trailblazers by City & State New York in 2025.
