Prior to joining Prompt Therapy Solutions, Dr. Nanu served as a senior AI solutions engineer at Aitomatic Inc. from 2021 to 2023. During this time, he ascended to the role of head of product in 2022 and honed his skills in customer relations, hired and managed a global development team and developed AI and software as a service (SaaS) solutions to meet client needs. His postdoctoral and graduate research at Brandeis University from 2015 to 2021 — during which he built algorithms to analyze high-density neural signals and streamlined data processing pipelines at multiple laboratories — further solidified his expertise in neuroscience and AI integration.

Dr. Nanu's equally impressive academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in physics from the California Institute of Technology in 2013, followed by a Master of Science in applied cognition and neuroscience in 2015. Upon recognizing that some of the world's most significant developments were centered around communication, he identified brain-machine interfacing as the next stage of interactions. Pursuing his passion for neurotechnology, he successfully completed a PhD in neuroscience at Brandeis University in 2021.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Nanu is actively involved in civic initiatives through both the Nanu Foundation – a foundation helping schools and children in India and Zambia – and as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He is also an Eagle Scout Award recipient from Scouting America, highlighting his commitment to community service and leadership from an early age.

Dr. Nanu's passion for research is evident through his numerous publications. He has co-authored several influential papers on topics such as the challenges of memory retrieval, neuronal group functions and a face mask that conducts neonatal respiratory measurements. His works have been featured in such publications as the Journal of Neuroscience, Current Opinion in Physiology and Schizophrenia Research, contributing significantly to the understanding of neuroscience and its applications.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Nanu enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction novels, engaging in software development projects and exploring new AI innovations. He is currently collaborating on the design of an education program for underprivileged children aimed at teaching them software development and AI skills, an initiative that reflects his dedication to empowering future generations through the latest technologies.

Looking ahead, Dr. Nanu envisions expanding his current AI team into a thriving department that can have a substantial impact. He also aspires to establish a startup business focused on consumer technology and brain-machine interface innovations.
