JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 18, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Morris L. Fordham, PMP, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Currently working as the Skyway Director for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, Mr. Fordham has established a distinguished career of over 30 years in transportation and logistics. In his role, he is responsible for setting up long-term projects and conducting extensive reengineering and managing costs within a long-term budget. His expertise extends to providing consulting services to the United States Department of Defense to assist in securing contracts as well as planning schedules, analyzing financial expenditures and directing and maintaining safety programs that align with the authority's strategic goals.

Prior to reaching his current position, Mr. Fordham served as a deputy program manager at Kellogg, Brown & Root (KBR) from 2020 to 2023. During his tenure, he was in charge of OConus employee operations spanning maintenance, supply and shipboard operations across Norway, Saipan, Kuwait and Guam. One of his most notable achievements was utilizing his expertise to safeguard KBR from potential loss of multi-million dollar contract in Kuwait, a testament to his adept project management skills. He was also the company's Director of Maintenance from 2019 to 2020, during which he built and maintained relationships with customers and contractors, assisted in planning for international operations and maintained project schedules within set budgets.

Mr. Fordham began his career with an extensive tenure at Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc. — a leader in manufacturing aerospace and automotive products, engineering materials and residential and commercial control systems — where he served as a Maintenance Director. From 2006 to 2019, he consistently improved the performance of the maintenance department in safety, production and quality while managing environmental hazardous waste programs and providing oversight of all disposal processes. His work there earned him various awards for quality management and cost savings, reflecting his longstanding commitment to excellence and efficiency.

Before transitioning into civilian roles, Mr. Fordham dedicated over two decades to serving in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of E-7 Gunnery Sergeant in the ordnance field from 1985 to 2006. Along with the leadership skills and discipline he developed during his military service, he attributes much of his success to his mentors: Kevin Shusko from the Marine Corps and Spencer Rutledge at Honeywell, both of whom provided invaluable guidance and encouragement.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mr. Fordham holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in Jacksonville, Florida, obtained in 2016, as well as a Bachelor of Science in technical management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida, earned in 2012. To expand his knowledge and qualifications, he was certified as a project management professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute in 2022 and obtained a Microsoft Project certification in 2020. Additionally, he is Six Sigma green belt certified and participated in the Capsim Challenge through Capsim Management Simulations Inc. in 2016, finishing first out of 3,000 participants from 18 countries.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Fordham is actively involved with civic-minded organizations as a supporter of various charity works through the Masons and as a donor to local agencies. Happily married and a proud father of two children, he enjoys cooking, fishing and spending quality time with his family.

Looking to the future with optimism, Mr. Fordham aims to engage in online teaching while contributing to the introduction of autonomous vehicles through the Florida transportation agency. His vision includes being part of a team that launches and oversees the first autonomous vehicles for public transportation, marking a significant milestone in urban mobility innovation and furthering a legacy of excellence throughout his community and beyond.
