Currently serving as the ambulatory operations manager at Cooper University Health Care, Ms. Briggs has established a commendable career in the health care industry. In her role at the facility, she coaches and mentors staff members on best practices, conducts performance reviews, identifies areas for improvement and collaborates with additional teams to ensure coordinated care for patients. Her journey in the field began after a negative hospital experience as a young girl, which inspired her to ensure that no patient would endure similar hardships. She has excelled in various medical roles for over a decade, building strong relationships with her patients and treating each one with the individual care and respect she would offer her own family.

Prior to reaching her ambulatory role, Ms. Briggs worked as a medical assistant at Cooper University Hospital from 2019 to 2025. During this time, she honed her skills in medical operations, prepared exam rooms and assisted in life-saving procedures including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation. Her steadfast commitment to excellence was recognized by multiple managers who advocated for her promotion, ensuring that her hard work was rewarded.

Before joining Cooper University Hospital, Ms. Briggs served as a medical assistant at Virtua Marlton Hospital from 2014 to 2018. In this role, she further developed her clinical skills and gained valuable experience in patient interaction and health care delivery. Her career path also includes roles outside of health care; she worked as a shift manager at Baja Fresh from 2011 to 2012 and at Consumer Value Store (CVS) Pharmacy from 2005 to 2008. Both of these positions armed her with essential staff management skills and customer service experience that has been integral to her success in the health care sector.

Academically, Ms. Briggs completed coursework in public relations, advertising and applied communication at Camden County College. To expand her health care knowledge and qualifications, she is certified as clinical medical assistant, phlebotomist and electrocardiogram (EKG) technician by the ASI Career Institute. She attributes much of her success across multiple fields to the support of her parents and son, as well as the guidance of excellent managers at Cooper University Health Care.

Known for her dedication to community service, Ms. Briggs is involved with civic-minded organizations such as Save the Children and Ronald McDonald House Charities. Reflecting her longstanding commitment to giving back to youth and families in need, she has previously served as a volunteer and fundraiser for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). Recognized for her accomplishments as both a student and health care professional, she has been honored with the Top Performer Award and was previously selected for inclusion in Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Looking to the future with determination, Ms. Briggs aims to advance further within Cooper University Health Care, potentially as a director with a focus on administrative or patient operations. She also plans to deepen her education by obtaining an associate degree and a bachelor's degree in health care administration. A proud mother of one child, she cherishes spending time with her son and reading, activities that provide balance and fulfillment outside of her professional endeavors.
