Her role involves engaging with various stakeholders, including the United States Department of Agriculture, to secure funding for innovative projects. Through her work with Kind Farm Services, Ms. Mok aims to shed light on the challenges related to food sourcing and explore effective strategies to address them. A notable portion of the nation's food supply is sourced internationally, which raises important questions about food safety. Kind Farm Services is dedicated to developing smart infrastructure projects that prioritize locally sourced, pesticide-free food, which will not only minimize waste but also deliver fresh produce that benefits the environment by lowering CO2 emissions and generating green jobs. Currently, the company is leading large-scale initiatives to build a domestic food production in the U.S., a 65-acre greenhouse, a $100m+ investment in growing amazing produce close to the end consumer.
Ms. Mok's efforts extend to supporting underprivileged communities through initiatives aimed at empowering minority-owned businesses, promoting food justice and improving food access in schools and urban food deserts. By encouraging local sourcing on both small and large scales, she strives to promote resilient agricultural practices that foster community well-being. Kind Farm Services' guiding philosophy is straightforward: where there is a will, there is a way. By embracing innovative thinking, they turn challenges into valuable opportunities for constructive solutions that benefit communities and beyond.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Mok was the director of the project management office and supply chain at CEA Construction, BrightFarms, where she led the nationwide build expansion of greenhouse production. This journey has instilled in her a deep appreciation for each day as an opportunity, and she is committed to making the most of every situation. She strives to stay grounded and not take anything for granted. Furthermore, her internal motivation drives her to contribute positively to the world, with a strong desire to help make it a better place.

Recently, she visited Philadelphia, where they are working with the school district to develop three community farms. Additionally, a farm is being set up in an area that has faced challenges related to drug addiction. This initiative aims to provide vital food resources to families in need. Through these extensive governmental initiatives and community-driven projects, Ms. Mok is dedicated to addressing food insecurity where it is most critical.
