Her career began in law enforcement as a police officer with the City of Tucson, where she was recognized for her bravery with two Life Saving Medals from the Tucson Police Department. Before her tenure in law enforcement, she served six years in the Army National Guard and five years as a technical sergeant in the Air Force Reserves. These experiences have equipped her with a diverse skill set that she now applies to her hospitality endeavors.

Ms. Hunt's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in criminology and criminal justice from Indiana State University, earned in 2011, and an associate degree in intelligence operations. Her education laid a strong foundation for her initial career in law enforcement and later facilitated her transition into hospitality. Additionally, she holds certification as a certified travel advisor from Lake County, which further underscores her expertise in the field.

Her success is deeply rooted in personal influences, particularly the drive and spirit of her late mother, who was a single parent from the time Ms. Hunt was very young. The unwavering support of her husband has also been instrumental in her journey, providing encouragement and love that have been crucial to both her personal and professional achievements.

Beyond her professional commitments, Ms. Hunt is actively involved with several industry-related organizations, including Visit Lake County, Visit Tucson County and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers with the Arizona Rangers, demonstrating her commitment to civic engagement and community service.
In her personal life, Ms. Hunt finds immense joy in being with her daughter, who shares an interest in hospitality by helping with their unique bed and breakfast. They enjoy spending time together through activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, thrifting and antiquing.

Looking ahead, Ms. Hunt envisions expanding her glamping dream by adding new accommodations to their bed and breakfast while preserving its historical essence. She dreams of incorporating a treehouse accommodation in California and plans to collaborate with local businesses in Tucson and California to foster a community atmosphere rather than a competitive one.
