DELAVAN, WI, July 22, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elisabeth H. Casey has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As with all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals are chosen based on their current reference value, with consideration given to position, notable accomplishments, visibility, and impact within their field.

Ms. Casey is a dedicated and influential leader in the housing sector, currently serving as Executive Director of NeighborWorks Blackhawk Region in Beloit, Wisconsin. Since assuming the role in 2025, she has focused on strengthening and expanding core housing programs while fostering cross-sector partnerships to improve outcomes for families. Her work includes overseeing homebuyer education and counseling, down payment assistance, reverse mortgage counseling, and foreclosure prevention efforts—along with ensuring compliance and continuous program improvement. Under her leadership, the organization has increased program participation, secured new sources of funding, and streamlined internal systems to better serve the community with transparency and care.

Prior to this, Ms. Casey served as Deputy Director and a HUD-certified housing counselor at NeighborWorks Blackhawk Region from 2011 to 2025. During that time, she single-handedly managed the housing counseling department, supporting more than 200 individuals annually and maintaining full compliance with reporting requirements. Her earlier professional experience in the mortgage industry helped lay a strong foundation in lending, housing access, and financial empowerment.

Ms. Casey attributes much of her growth to a combination of hands-on experience and a drive to learn. Recognizing the importance of formal education in advancing her leadership, she earned an Associate of Science degree from Gateway Technical College in 2018, graduating with Presidential Honors—a personal milestone achieved while balancing full-time work and family responsibilities.

Further enhancing her credentials, Ms. Casey is a Wisconsin-licensed mortgage loan originator, HUD-certified housing counselor, and reverse mortgage counselor. She is also a commissioned notary public in the state. In addition to earning a grant writing certificate from Gateway Technical College, she has completed a broad range of advanced trainings in housing counseling, homeownership, and rental support. These accomplishments reflect her ongoing commitment to professional excellence and community-centered service.

Outside of her professional role, Ms. Casey is deeply engaged in community advocacy and equity work. She is a proud member of the Beloit Branch of the NAACP and serves on the advisory committee for the Health Equity Alliance of Rock County (HEAR), where she contributes to regional strategies addressing systemic barriers to housing and financial stability. A strong advocate for expanding access to homeownership, she works closely with local government and community partners to deliver financial literacy programming and homebuyer education—often supported by NRSA, CDBG, and HOME-funded initiatives. Ms. Casey also plays a key role in developing and promoting events that connect residents with essential housing resources. In 2023, she contributed to public dialogue through her published article, "Government program helps Wisconsinites avoid foreclosure," underscoring her commitment to demystifying complex housing programs and elevating community voice.

Reflecting on her career, Ms. Casey credits her success to her unwavering belief in the power of mission-driven work and the collective strength of her team. She emphasizes that meaningful impact is rooted in collaboration, shared responsibility, and deep connection with the communities they serve. Known for her hands-on leadership style and strategic mindset, she continues to foster partnerships that bridge gaps in housing access and promote equity. Looking ahead, Ms. Casey remains committed to advancing sustainable, people-centered solutions that address the affordable housing crisis in southern Wisconsin—driven by the belief that stable housing is a foundation for long-term well-being and opportunity.
