RIO GRANDE, PUERTO RICO, July 24, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gregory Wainscott Jackson, owner of Hacienda Siesta Alegre, was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the July/August 2025 South Florida issue of Condé Nast Traveler.

Since 1981, Mr. Jackson has served as the owner of Hacienda Siesta Alegre, an exclusive resort and inn located within the El Yunque National Forest of Puerto Rico. Recognized as a tranquil destination dedicated to ensuring the comfort of guests, Hacienda Siesta Alegre boasts beautiful scenic views. Situated on 100 acres of land, the resort also offers weddings nearly every day of the calendar year and a hotel for accommodations. Currently, Mr. Jackson is planning on incorporating wooden, turn-of-the-century houses into the resort's repertoire, as well as a restaurant that will overlook the El Yunque Rainforest Mountain, bordering the edge of the resort's horse racetrack.

In his position as the resort's owner, and with more than 40 years of professional experience to his credit, Mr. Jackson maintains responsibility for overseeing all business operations, safeguarding his guests' comfort, enjoyment and relaxation. Concurrently, he is the owner of another private resort in Puerto Rico called Villa Lomasol, as well as the president of the Alegre Equine Air Transport Corporation, leveraging the lattermost company to breed and train racehorses and equitation horses. To wit, Mr. Jackson has been involved in his profession since childhood, having grown up on horse racetracks. In addition, he is the owner of Siesta Alegre Hospitality, a professional hospitality brand unique to Mr. Jackson, through which he provides service to his many resorts.

A skilled business owner with an innate entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Jackson attributes a great deal of his success to his ability to cultivate positive relationships with guests and colleagues. Looking toward the future, he aims to ease into a well-deserved retirement. In this regard, he would like to witness a buyout of Hacienda Siesta Alegre in the near future, which will allow him to take part in company operations while giving the reins to an equally competent hospitality executive.
