In this role since 2020, he excels in forging connections with industry personnel, Department of Defense officials and high-level executives to secure simulator systems. His expertise in emerging technologies has been instrumental in his success, earning him recognition as an expert in the field.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Harris was an independent consultant specializing in business development for the Department of Defense from 2013 to 2020. Concurrently, he served as a business development executive at Adacel from 2015 to 2019, where he honed his skills in strategic planning and client relations. His tenure as a senior training consultant with Vinnell Arabia in Saudi Arabia from 2014 to 2015 further solidified his reputation as a leader in defense contracting.

Mr. Harris' career began with a robust foundation in the military. He served as a battalion master gunner with HHC, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Division from 1999 to 2001. His military service continued with roles such as chief trainer and project manager as the FORSCOM Bradley Master Gunner and training manager as a U.S. Army senior noncommissioned officer from 2001 to 2005. These experiences provided him with invaluable insights into military operations and leadership. His dedication to excellence has been recognized through awards such as the Meritorious Service Medal and other decorations from the U.S. Army.

His academic achievements have also played a pivotal role in his professional journey. Mr. Harris is scheduled to earn a Doctor of Technology from Purdue University in 2026, an accomplishment he regards will be one of his most significant achievements. He also obtained a Master of Science in information assurance and cybersecurity from Grand Canyon University in 2022, a Bachelor of Science in business, management, marketing and related support services from the University of Phoenix in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in international business from Howard Payne University in 1985. His educational background is complemented by numerous certifications, including a project management capstone and various certifications from Villanova University.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Harris is actively involved in several industry-related organizations, such as the National Defense Industrial Association, the National Infantry Association and the Aperture Association. His commitment to civic engagement is evident through his longstanding involvement with Masonic organizations and youth organizations since 1997.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Harris enjoys playing golf, swimming and spending time with his family. Looking ahead, he envisions himself reaching a director-level position while continuing to focus on growth and education within his field.
