Mr. Song's career trajectory is marked by a series of progressive roles that have shaped his professional acumen. Concurrent with his primary position, he has been the principal managing partner at Texas Legacy Realty since in 2020. Before joining this firm, he served as a project manager at KATERRA from 2019 to 2021, where he was responsible for overseeing various construction projects.

In 2018, Mr. Song took on the role of pre-construction manager for central operations at KATERRA after his tenure at National Oilwell Varco from 2011 to 2018. He also held the roles of site project manager, assistant site project manager and next-generation XVI chemical engineer at the same company.

As an active member of the National Association of Realtors, North Texas Korean-American Realty Association and Korean American Professional Network, Mr. Song continues to engage with industry peers and contribute to the advancement of real estate practices. Academically, he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering with a minor in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. In addition to his formal education, he holds several certifications, including being a certified project management professional and a licensed realtor and broker.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Song attributes his success to a blend of luck, hard work and collaboration with talented individuals. His journey into real estate was inspired by a shared dream with his brother to start their own business. Their combined expertise—his brother's background in banking and finance alongside Mr. Song's experience in construction—has proven to be a formidable foundation for their venture.

Throughout his career, Mr. Song is most proud of his work representing H Mart, which began as an American Korean grocery store and has grown internationally with widespread distribution. Having worked with the company in the past, Mr. Song is currently helping the firm expand into Texas and exploring opportunities to assist them in Oklahoma and Minnesota as well. Looking ahead professionally, he envisions expanding his influence within the real estate sector by becoming the largest real estate company in Dallas. He aims to manage properties at every major intersection in Dallas and Fort Worth.
