Prior to his current position, Mr. Hawk held several key roles at Koch Ag and Energy Solutions LLC. From 2022 to 2024, he was a turnaround program manager, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing comprehensive turnaround strategies. Before that, he served as a turnaround manager from 2021 to 2022, focusing on optimizing operational efficiencies. As the Central Plains nitrogen event manager from 2020 to 2021, Mr. Hawk demonstrated his expertise in managing complex projects. His earlier tenure as a project engineer and project manager from 2018 to 2020 further honed his skills in project execution and management.

Mr. Hawk's career began with the United States Army, where he served in various capacities from 2006 to 2015. His roles included battalion assistant operations officer and battalion supply officer, where he developed leadership skills and strategic planning abilities. As a company executive officer and platoon leader from 2009 to 2011, he gained valuable experience in team management and logistics. Mr. Hawk's military service laid the foundation for his disciplined approach to problem-solving and leadership.

In addition to his primary roles, Mr. Hawk has been an adjunct professor at Friends University since 2025, sharing his knowledge and experience with students pursuing careers in supply chain and logistics. His own academic background includes a Global Master of Business Administration in supply chain and logistics from Friends University in 2020 and a bachelor's degree in aerospace maintenance management from Middle Tennessee State University in 2006.

Mr. Hawk also holds several certifications that have contributed to his success. He has been a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute Inc. since 2016 and earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University in 2014. Additionally, he is a certified United States Army aviator and Federal Aviation Administration certified pilot through the United States Army Flight School.

One of Mr. Hawk's most notable professional accomplishments occurred during his time at Koch, where he served as a mentor and leader, guiding frontline operators into leadership roles, including one who became a plant manager in Dodge City. Even after leaving the company, he remained a trusted adviser during critical turnarounds. The continued success of those Mr. Hawk mentored reflects his dedication to knowledge-sharing, leadership development and empowering others.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Hawk is deeply engaged in civic and community initiatives. He is an active member of Hope Community Church and has dedicated significant time to coaching youth sports. From 2018 to 2020, he served as head coach for the Wichita Regional Soccer Association, and from 2019 to 2023, he led teams in the Wichita Heights Junior Baseball and Softball League at the Andover Recreation Center. Mr. Hawk's commitment to volunteerism was honored with the PMI Volunteer of the Year award, recognizing his work as an education trainer with PMI Wichita from 2016 to 2018.
