Before joining the department, he was a professional driving instructor at Teachers Driving Academy in Norton from 2019 to 2021, where he imparted essential skills to new drivers.

Mr. Connors's career also includes significant experience in the gaming industry. From 2015 to 2021, he held various roles at Plainridge Park Casino, including assistant count team manager and count team supervisor. His tenure at the casino began as an assistant count team supervisor in 2015. Additionally, he worked as a bank teller at Sharon Credit Union in East Walpole from 2014 to 2017 and gained early professional experience as a clerk at Stop and Shop Supermarkets in Mansfield, a summer intern for Senator James Timilty and a sales and customer service representative at Walt Disney World.

Serving as a foundation for his career, Mr. Connors's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Bridgewater State University in 2013 and coursework in both pre-theology and pre-ministerial studies at Saint John's Seminary and liberal arts and sciences at Bristol Community College. In addition to his formal education, he attributes his success to perseverance and resilience, qualities instilled in him by his father, grandmother and aunt. He continually stands by his word and follows through, no matter the circumstances.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Connors is involved in civic organizations, active with the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, the Knights of Columbus, Give Kids the World and Brother's Keeper. Furthermore, his leadership roles within the Mansfield Housing Authority include serving as chairman, vice chair, treasurer and board commissioner between 2010 and 2017.

Mr. Connors's standout work with clients at a grocery store earned him a customer service award early in his career, highlighting his exceptional skills in this area. Outside of work, he enjoys walking, hiking, biking, tennis and traveling. While he once had firm timelines for personal goals like marriage or pursuing public office, he now embraces a more flexible approach to his future aspirations.
