Through My Development Mavens, he aids businesses in need with software development services, including user interface (UX) and quality assurance (QA), to improve efficiency and automate processes.
Also impacting the educational realm, Mr. Lang served as the chief technology officer at ESAI — which uses ethical and gamified artificial intelligence to aid students in the college application process — in 2024 and at panOpen Education from 2022 to 2024. His tenure as the head of product and engineering for the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Google Cloud alliance from 2016 to 2017 saw him manage a team of more than 50 members specializing in product management and user interface services across China and the United States. Earlier in his journey, his strategic insights and efforts at MarketShare from 2011 to 2014 were pivotal in getting to the top right quadrant of the Forrester report and doubling the company's operating margin, leading to its sale for $450 million.
Mr. Lang's storied career began with roles that honed his skills in business analysis and product management. He worked as a lead business analyst and project manager at Tryton Solutions for General Electric from 2010 to 2011, following his role as a senior business analyst at Citigroup from 2009 to 2010. Mr. Lang was repeatedly promoted until he reported to the CIO of a $250M net income business unit.
Academically, Mr. Lang earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in artificial intelligence from Cornell University in 2001. Determined to make an equal impact outside the classroom, he served the school as a helpdesk supervisor for two years and as a program manager for one year. His educational achievements laid much of the groundwork for his future endeavors, equipping him with the technical expertise and strategic thinking necessary to excel in various leadership roles across multiple industries.
Deeply committed to civic engagement and thought leadership, Mr. Lang serves on the board of advisors for the World Ethics Organization and has been an active board member of Cornell Alumni Organizations since 2001. Looking ahead, he envisions a future where PlateRate becomes a leader in generous capitalism within the food tech industry, inspiring others to prioritize generosity toward customers and employees. Additionally, he aims for My Profitability Mavens to contribute significantly to enabling almost every American to have access to preventative health care.
Mr. Lang's dedication to innovation and ethical business practices has earned him recognition throughout his field, with PlateRate receiving the Most Visionary Product award from The Product Group in 2019.
