Since 2022, he has overseen all facets of the publication's operations as it continues to educate bakery manufacturers on the latest trends, ingredients, equipment and technologies.

Mr. Boddicker began his journey at Sosland in 2016 as a sales specialist, where he quickly demonstrated his aptitude for the publishing industry at large. By 2018, he advanced to the role of national sales manager for Bake magazine, which provides industry coverage and analysis for retail and specialty bakeries seeking to grow their business. In 2021, he was appointed associate publisher of Baking & Snack, setting the stage for his current leadership position.

Before embarking on his publishing journey, Mr. Boddicker pursued a professional baseball career. He played for the Kansas City T-Bones Baseball Club and the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club as a versatile infielder in 2015 and 2016. Though vastly different from his current profession, his sporting experience instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and teamwork that has been invaluable throughout his career.

Mr. Boddicker's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Tennessee Wesleyan University, completed in 2015. The values instilled by his parents — his father being a former Major League Baseball player — along with the support of his siblings, have shaped his approach to leadership and personal integrity. Additionally, he is grateful to Baking & Snacks founder Mike Gude for providing invaluable guidance and mentoring.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Boddicker is deeply committed to civic engagement and philanthropy. In 2020, he and his family founded the Boddicker Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Overland Park. The foundation hosts an annual bourbon raffle that has raised more than $500,000 for Children's Mercy Hospital in support of families with children who are battling cancer. He takes great joy in connecting with these families, helping to ease their financial strain as they navigate some of life's most difficult moments.

Outside of his work at Sosland Publishing, Mr. Boddicker is recognized for his contributions to the broader baking community through various associations. He is an active member of the Bakery Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds (BEMA), Allied Trades of the Baking Industry (ATBI), the American Bakers Association and the American Society of Baking (ASB), fostering key relationships to help individuals and businesses thrive.

Happily married and a proud father of three daughters, Mr. Boddicker prioritizes spending quality time with his family while balancing his professional responsibilities. His leadership philosophy is inspired by the book "The Go-Giver," which emphasizes selfless giving as a cornerstone of successful relationships.
