Before pivoting into the insurance sector, Ms. Cichon was a legal assistant and paralegal for various insurance defense firms, where she compiled pleadings and oversaw case files. Earlier in her career, she was in law enforcement, holding top-secret security clearance while conducting background investigations for the federal government, clerking at a criminal court and managing a sheriff's department handling process of service. These roles honed her investigative skills, which later proved invaluable in Ms. Cichon's transition to the insurance sector.

Ms. Cichon holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven since 1999 and a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Hartford since 2005. She has also been an American Bar Association-approved paralegal since 2003.

In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Cichon received the SOAR Award from Chubb early in her career and has climbed the ladder from an assistant to claim handlers to a Claim Director in the prestigious Director's and Officer's line of business.
