Before his tenure at Rotek Instrument Corporation, Mr. Presumey spent over 10 years with Advanced Instruments Inc., beginning in 1987. His work there laid the foundation for his future successes, including his most notable achievement, which involved the development of an electronic switch for biomedical equipment. This invention addressed a critical communication issue between nursing stations and the patients, showcasing Mr. Presumey's problem-solving acumen.

Mr. Presumey's academic background played a pivotal role in shaping his career trajectory. He graduated cum laude from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering in 1999, and a Bachelor of Science in power system engineering in 2012. Mr. Presumey's decision to pursue engineering was influenced by a professor who recognized his potential during a calculus class, steering him away from accounting studies he had initially pursued both in Haiti and upon arriving in the U.S.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Presumey is actively involved in several industry-related and civic organizations, including the American Society for Quality, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Power and Energy Society of the IEEE. His commitment to civic engagement is further demonstrated through his membership in the Freemasons and his former role as board chair of CAG'H from 2002 to 2012.
