His journey began with the establishment of his own practice in 2003 after gaining valuable experience as an attorney in Kansas City and Oklahoma. Mr. Bailey's career commenced in public accounting in 1985 before transitioning into the oil and gas industry for three years. He then ventured into information technology for five years before serving as the chief financial officer of a construction company for an additional three years. During this time, he pursued legal studies while working in tax-related roles. After earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2002 and a Master of Laws in taxation from the same institution in 2003, he returned to Oklahoma to further his legal career.

Before joining the workforce, Mr. Bailey laid the groundwork for this career with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Northeastern State University in 1989. His legal acumen is further supported by his bar admissions to several courts, including the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Cherokee Nation Judicial Branch.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Bailey attributes his success to his strong Christian faith and the blessings he believes have been bestowed upon him by God. He also credits his parents, who instilled in him a robust work ethic and character, and his wife, who has played a significant role in supporting his professional endeavors.

In his personal life, Mr. Bailey enjoys working on his self-sustaining homestead alongside his wife Jacqueline. Their home operates off-grid with solar energy, featuring gardens and livestock that contribute to their self-sufficient lifestyle. The two of them are proud parents of five children and grandparents of seven grandchildren. He considers his family his most significant personal accomplishment. He also dedicates his free time to participating in his local church and community groups.

Mr. Bailey has been consistently recognized for excellence in client service and legal achievement, earning multiple Client Champion Platinum and Silver Awards from 2016 through 2025, as well as Client Distinction Awards in earlier years.
