Mr. Faryniak also coordinates with contractors and companies to ensure the firehouse is well-maintained. Before assuming his current role, Mr. Faryniak spent over a decade as an active firefighter with the Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 2. His passion for firefighting was ignited during childhood visits to firehouse events, which inspired him to pursue a career in this field. Prior to his firefighting career, Mr. Faryniak worked at a local farm, gaining valuable experience that would later inform his approach to community service and teamwork. Among other roles, he was a tow truck driver for 15 years.
Mr. Faryniak is actively involved with the Firefighters Association, further demonstrating his commitment to the firefighting community. He has also served as a volunteer with the County Hazmat Team, where he was notably featured in a local newspaper photo depicting their response to a small plane crash in Manville, New Jersey.
Grateful for his continued success in the field, Mr. Faryniak takes pride in assisting residents during natural disasters and storms by performing essential tasks such as directing traffic with road flares to ensure safe navigation through intersections. In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Faryniak has been awarded several honors for his time of service and departmental recognition at installation dinners, highlighting his significant contributions to public safety.
Supported by the Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 and other community members during challenging times, Mr. Faryniak considers his team like family. This support network has reinforced his belief in the power of community outreach and continues to inspire him daily.
