Her experience in marketing for plastics in South America from 2008 to 2011 provided her with deeper insights into international markets and complemented her commercial background in sales and business development.

She followed that with marketing specialist positions in global marketing in specialty plastics between 2011 and 2013, where she demonstrated her adeptness at navigating diverse markets and driving a global product launch out of the BASF headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Her international experience served her well as a strategy manager for performance materials in Belgium, where she played a pivotal role in shaping long-term strategic initiatives that aligned with BASF's global objectives.

Prior to reaching her current position at BASF, Ms. Delmenhorst was the business director for consumer performance materials in North America from 2020 to 2023. During this time, she honed her skills in managing business operations in complex and dynamic market conditions and further grew her know-how in the polyurethanes industry. Her tenure as marketing manager for the consumer industry within performance materials from 2017 to 2020 saw her spearhead marketing strategies and innovation pipeline steering that significantly contributed to elevating the market presence of BASF's products.

Academically, Ms. Delmenhorst earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in 2007, which equipped her with the business acumen that has been vital throughout her ascension at BASF. Along with her education, she attributes her success to the mentorship and guidance received from professionals within the company as well as her ability to learn from both prosperous projects and challenges encountered along the way.
