Dr. Bajaj, a distinguished expert in physics and semiconductors, has made significant contributions to the field throughout his extensive career. Currently serving as an advisor for the Center for Semiconductor Materials and Devices Modeling at Boston University, he continues to influence the academic and scientific community with his profound knowledge and expertise.

Prior to his current role in 2024, Dr. Bajaj was an advisor to the director at the Sensors and Electron Devices Directorate of the U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, Maryland, from 2015 to 2024. His work there involved providing strategic guidance on advanced research initiatives.

Concurrent with this position, from 2015 to 2020, Dr. Bajaj served as an advisor to the CEO for imaging at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Before this advisory role, he was vice president of technology at Teledyne Imaging Sensors for two years after contributing to the firm as president from 2011 to 2013. He also held the position of vice president and general manager at both Teledyne Imaging Sensors from 2010 to 2011 and Teledyne Judson Technologies from 2008 to 2010.

Dr. Bajaj laid the foundation for his career with a long tenure as senior director of operations at Teledyne Imaging Sensors from 1981 to 2008. His academics have also greatly contributed to his success. He earned a doctorate in physics from Northwestern University in 1981, following a Master of Science in physics and a Bachelor of Science in physics, both earned from Delhi University in India in 1975 and 1973, respectively, before immigrating to the United States.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Bajaj also contributes to his community civically, currently involved with the India Friends Association. His personal life is enriched by his family, including two sons, and shared interests with his wife, who is also a medical doctor with a demanding career. He also enjoys golf and skiing as hobbies.
