Prior to that, she was Director of Talent at Invitae, where she enhanced recruitment, development, and engagement systems to support inclusive growth across a global workforce.
Earlier in her career, she was Director of People Operations at Folsom Labs, where she partnered with the executive team to define company values and build the organization's first HR infrastructure. She launched culture programs, introduced inclusive benefits such as maternity programs, and designed employee experiences that supported retention and belonging during a high-growth phase.

Her professional journey began in retail, where she discovered her calling in people leadership. While at The Home Depot, she launched "Women's Workshop Wednesdays," a monthly series of free, hands-on DIY sessions for women in the community.
