She also shared her expertise as part of the community school faculty at Southeastern Louisiana University from 2012 to 2014, where she engaged with a diverse group of students and enriched their musical journeys.

Dr. Kim's academic credentials are equally impressive, having earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in music performance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012. She also holds master's degrees from Texas Christian University and Appalachian State University, as well as a master's degree from German institutions such as Hannover, Detmold, and Weimar Musik Hochschule. Dr. Kim's contributions extend beyond the classroom through her involvement with various organizations.
