Mr. Glenn's career with the Anaheim Police Department began in 1993 when he joined as a police officer. Over the years, he has been instrumental in implementing initiatives that support officers and their families, such as establishing the peer support program that provides essential resources to all employees. His dedication to improving the department's culture is evident in his efforts to transform it into a more supportive and inclusive environment.

Educationally, Mr. Glenn's background has played a significant role in shaping his approach to leadership and community service. He earned a Master of Arts in psychology with an emphasis in human factors from Grand Canyon University in 2024, which equipped him with insights into human behavior and decision-making processes. He also holds a master's degree in emergency services administration from California State University, Long Beach, obtained in 2008, and a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Montana, completed in 1990. These academic achievements have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of societal dynamics and emergency management.

Throughout his career, Mr. Glenn has attributed his success to the unwavering support of his family. Furthering his industry expertise, he is also an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, the California Police Chiefs Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Mr. Glenn is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Class #291. The FBI National Academy (FBINA) is a prestigious professional development program for the top 1% of law enforcement leaders from across the United States and around the world. Held at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia, the program is run by the FBI's Training Division and is considered one of the premier leadership academies for law enforcement.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Glenn values his Japanese heritage and cherishes his visits to Japan. He is also deeply committed to his family, enjoying time spent with his grandchildren. In the upcoming years, he aims to transform law enforcement by offering wellness resources to officers and their families, aiming to reduce suicide rates within the profession. He hopes that transforming the culture within his police department will catalyze broader change across law enforcement agencies nationwide.
