CYPRESS, TX, August 13, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Fosca Piomelli-Barrios with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios celebrates many years' experience in her professional network and has been recognized for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field, as well as her more recent efforts to empower others through wellness education and entrepreneurial mentorship. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios has established a distinguished career as an attorney and educator, leveraging her expertise in both fields to also become a successful entrepreneur. Her approach to business ownership is rooted in her desire to provide solutions and address needs that have thus far gone unmet. Whether providing legal guidance to corporate executives, project management services to contractors, or child-centered instruction to young learners, from birth to eighth grade, the establishments she has founded have successfully fulfilled important needs within their communities and continue to thrive as a result.

Ms. Piomelli-Barrios' most recent venture is Alexsca LLC, which she co-founded with her husband in 2024. Alexsca is a full-service construction company providing not only building services, but also business consulting, project management, and legal support tailored to industry professionals. Ms. Piomelli-Barrios' role involves managing projects from small residential renovations to significant commercial developments exceeding $10 million in value. She also assists with project generation, billing, and legal contracts, including prime contracts and subcontractor agreements. Meanwhile, as the sole founder of Texas Law Solutions, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios provides general legal services with a particular emphasis on business and corporate law, real estate law, and trusts and estates. In addition to her legal and construction endeavors, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios has become a passionate advocate for wellness and financial freedom through her affiliation with Tranont, a health and lifestyle company. Inspired by her own health journey and desire to uplift others, she leads a growing team of entrepreneurs, sharing tools and products designed to promote better health, greater confidence, and economic independence. This effort aligns seamlessly with her lifelong mission to help others thrive—whether in courtrooms, classrooms, boardrooms, or beyond.

In 2007, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios was diagnosed with a rare gastrointestinal stromal tumor, which required partial removal of her stomach and led to long-term complications. Her recovery journey sparked a profound shift in perspective—deepening her empathy, sharpening her focus, and igniting a lifelong commitment to helping others reclaim their strength. This experience ultimately shaped her volunteer work as a cancer mentor with Imerman Angels, her dedication to wellness education through Tranont, and her unwavering belief that resilience and community support can transform even the most difficult challenges.

Ms. Piomelli-Barrios is especially proud of founding the Montessori Academy of Chicago in 2005. At the time, as a working professional and new mother in Chicago, she encountered firsthand the lack of high-quality, flexible childcare options. Recognizing that many other families likely faced the same challenge, she founded the school not just for her own child, but to serve a broader community of working parents. While she served as the school's founding head, she now acts as a professional advisor and general counsel to the institution, supporting its growth and governance. She also established Friends of Montessori Academy of Chicago, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides scholarships for teacher training and student tuition. Ms. Piomelli-Barrios credits her own Montessori education with developing the creative thinking and problem-solving skills that have fueled her success across diverse professional roles.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios worked as a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker in Denver in 2004, where she refined her skills in real estate transactions. From 2003 to 2005, she served as the director of contract administration at American Invsco in Chicago. Her responsibilities included overseeing contract negotiations and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Before this role, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios excelled as the assistant general counsel at Club Quarters Hotels in New York City between 2001 and 2003, where she provided legal guidance on various corporate matters. She began her legal career working in bankruptcy practice before becoming a real estate attorney at Kaye Scholer LLP in New York City in 2000.

Ms. Piomelli-Barrios' academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in politics and classics from New York University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 1996. In 1999, she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the New York University School of Law. These credentials have been pivotal in her successful career trajectory. Additionally, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios was admitted to practice by the New York State Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.

Adding to her credentials, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Women's Council of Entrepreneurs, where she holds a leadership role in her local chapter, and the New York State Bar Association. She is also a life member of the American Montessori Society. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios is deeply committed to civic engagement. As the founder and volunteer for Friends of the Montessori Academy of Chicago Inc., she also supports educational initiatives within her community.

Looking ahead, Ms. Piomelli-Barrios aims to inspire both men and women through her work, blending legal advocacy, business leadership, and personal empowerment. She also aspires to become a law professor, continuing to impact future generations with her knowledge and experience, while remaining active in mentoring others through both professional and wellness-based initiatives.
