In 2022, she briefly served as the director of field operations, and from 2021 and 2022, she excelled as the director of customer operations, launching initiatives to improve customer engagement. During her Novartis tenure, Ms. Galvez developed and led the Virtual Engagement Center of Excellence within commercial operations, showcasing her leadership and adaptability in remote work environments.

Ms. Galvez initiated her association with Novartis AG as a senior area business leader in 2013, after which she thrived as the interim senior manager for the sales excellence and project management office in 2016. In 2017, she was named the associate director of sales strategy and operations. In this role, Ms. Galvez's strategic insights were instrumental in driving sales growth and elevating operational excellence through 2021.

Before joining Novartis, Ms. Galvez made significant contributions to Alcon Inc., where she was a senior district manager from 2015 to 2017 and a district manager from 2013 to 2015. Ms. Galvez's early career was marked by her role as district sales manager at AstraZeneca from 2000 to 2013, where she cultivated her skills in sales management and team leadership. Throughout her career, Ms. Galvez has been acknowledged with multiple sales awards and president's club recognition. Notably, she also accepted the Commercial Excellence Achievement Award from Novartis AG, evidence of her signature contributions to the organization.

Ms. Galvez's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from the University of Phoenix, which she completed in 1992. Additionally, she holds a certification in mental health first aid for adults from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Ms. Galvez also actively seeks opportunities for civic engagement and charity work related to the pharmaceutical industry, supporting causes like cardiovascular health through the American Heart Association, as well as mental health associations.
