She has been instrumental in overseeing and enhancing the hospital's rehabilitation programs, drawing on her extensive experience and leadership skills.

INTERLOCHEN, MI, August 14, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Julie Ladwig, PT, MHA, MRMC, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Ladwig has established a distinguished career in the field of rehabilitation services, having served as the administrative director of rehabilitation services at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital from 2018 to 2025. In this role, she has been instrumental in overseeing and enhancing the hospital's rehabilitation programs, drawing on her extensive experience and leadership skills. She and her team expanded the inpatient rehab unit from 16 beds to 25 beds. Prior to this position, she was the director of rehabilitation services at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital for the preceding two years where she launched a new 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and focused on developing comprehensive care strategies for patients.

Ms. Ladwig worked for the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in both the Denver and San Antonio markets. From 2015-2016, Ms. Ladwig served as a clinical rehabilitation specialist at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital. Her career with HCA began in Denver, CO at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital where she served her first role as a clinical liaison, where she facilitated communication between patients and health care providers to ensure optimal care outcomes. She is very proud of guiding and treating those who have experienced trauma, especially in brain or spinal cord injuries.

Ms. Ladwig's earlier roles include director of rehabilitation services at Rehab Solutions from 2013 to 2014 and clinical director of rehabilitation services at Rainbow Rehabilitation Centers from 2010 to 2013. Her leadership journey began as the assistant director of rehab at William Beaumont Hospital for one year, following her role as safe strides director at Gentiva Health Services from 2007 to 2008. She has furthered her expertise through membership with the American College of Healthcare Executives and Medical Rehab Management.

Educationally, Ms. Ladwig earned a master's degree in health care administration and management from Colorado State University Global in 2016 and a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Wayne State University in 1986. These academic achievements have provided a strong foundation for her career, complemented by certifications such as a medical rehabilitation management certification from the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association and being a certified kinesio taping practitioner.

Ms. Ladwig attributes much of her success to the mentors who supported her early leadership roles, instilling confidence in her and empowering her growth. Her involvement with The Haven has further shaped her resilience and determination, qualities she channels into helping others through her work.

Beyond her professional life, Ms. Ladwig is actively involved in civic organizations, such as the Tri-County Celiac Support Group and the Stroke Club in Traverse City. She has organized events like Making Tracks for Celiacs in Michigan, raising funds for celiac research and supporting affected families. Her commitment extends to presenting at stroke club meetings, where she shares insights and experiences with members.

In her personal life, Ms. Ladwig is an avid triathlete with aspirations to complete a full Ironman event. She enjoys endurance sports alongside her husband, participating in various events together. They are exploring opportunities with the Ironman organization to further their involvement in helping others achieve their goals. With a focus on serving others, she plans to continue making meaningful contributions through leadership roles or volunteer work in the upcoming years, guided by her belief in trusting the journey ahead.
