Based in Nevada, Mr. Morrissey specializes in remote technical writing services through his subsidiary, Write The First Time, to companies working with the U.S. military.

Having begun his career in the U.S. Navy from 1975 to 1980, Mr. Morrissey honed his skills as a seaman boatswain's mate aboard the USS Tarawa (LHA-1). This foundational experience instilled in him a deep understanding of military operations and the importance of connecting individuals with opportunities.

Following his military career, Mr. Morrissey worked for several leading organizations, including Microsoft as a project manager and senior technical writer, contributing to the launch of Windows 2000. His work on online help files using HTML was groundbreaking at the time and provided him with valuable insights into accessibility for individuals with disabilities and non-native English speakers. This role marked the beginning of a prolific career in technical writing and project management.

Mr. Morrissey later served as a senior technical consultant at Computer Associates, a knowledge engineer at Peregrine Systems, and a knowledge manager at Infrastructure Development Corporation. His ability to manage complex projects was evident as a senior technical writer and supervisor at InnovaSystems International LLC from 2004 to 2011. Mr. Morrissey's commitment to supporting veterans was exemplified during his tenure at Western Digital Corporation. He led initiatives like WeSalute, which provided significant opportunities for veterans and their families. His efforts were instrumental in Western Digital receiving prestigious recognition from the U.S. Department of Defense.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Mr. Morrissey has been actively involved in civic organizations, such as the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense program, and the Southern Nevada Veterans Chamber of Commerce. His dedication to public affairs earned him numerous accolades, including multiple Volunteer of the Year awards from ESGR and the James M Roche "Spirit of Volunteerism" Award.

Mr. Morrissey holds an Associate of Arts in English from Glendale Community College. He also completed coursework at Los Angeles Valley College and pursued program management studies at the University of California, Riverside.

Throughout his career, Mr. Morrissey has been guided by various mentors and influenced by family members, such as his sister Mary, a retired C-suite executive and a successful novelist.
