NEW YORK, NY, August 14, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amelia Nash, RGD, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Nash has established herself as a distinguished figure in the fields of design, marketing and branding. As the brand and marketing manager at the School of Visual Arts' Master's in Branding program since 2021, she has been instrumental in shaping the department's strategic direction. Her role, which she created after identifying a gap in marketing and strategic execution, involves overseeing the department's marketing efforts including website management and social media. Her redesign of the program's website garnered significant recognition, winning numerous awards, including the prestigious W3 Best in Show Award in 2024. Additionally, she teaches alongside Alex Carter in a course titled Building a Brand from Scratch.

In addition to her primary role, Ms. Nash has served as a senior staff writer and content editor for Print Magazine since 2023, where she also held the position of social media manager from 2023 to 2025. Her tenure at Core77 as a social media coordinator from 2024 to 2025 further underscores her proficiency in digital communication. Prior to these roles, she was a graphic designer at Alberta Blue Cross for two years. Her early career included the positions of marketing coordinator and technology specialist in 2015 and graphic designer at BR2 Architecture from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to her professional roles, Ms. Nash founded Amelia Nash Design in Canada in 2012, where she served as principal designer until relocating to the United States for further education in 2021. Her decision to pursue a master's degree in branding at the School of Visual Arts was driven by her desire to deepen her understanding of branding and strategy as it pertains to client work, culture and the world. This academic pursuit was complemented by her bachelor's degree in visual communication design with a focus on business and marketing from the University of Alberta, completed in 2018.

Ms. Nash's educational background is further enriched by her certifications, which include a CSS/HTML core certificate from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and recognition as a certified RGD by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, Canada's largest professional association for graphic designers. Her commitment to excellence is also evident through her many accolades, such as the Brand Master Award from the School of Visual Arts Master's in Branding program and the Livia Stoyke VCD Leadership Award from the University of Alberta's Department of Art & Design.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Nash is actively involved in civic organizations, demonstrating her commitment to community service. She has volunteered with Cystic Fibrosis Canada through Shinerama and participated in New Year's festivities with Strathcona County. Ms. Nash currently serves on the RGD Board of Directors as Vice Chair of the Education Committee and on the AIGA New York Chapter Board of Directors, where she is a member of the Education Workgroup. The AIGA, or American Institute of Graphic Artists, is the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design in the United States. Her dedication extends to mentoring aspiring designers, aiming to foster improved communication about sustainability within the industry. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, swimming, immersing herself in all things branding and design and spending time with her loved ones.

Reflecting on her career, Ms. Nash attributes her success to her parents' influence — her mother's creativity and her father's strategic planning skills — and her own dedication, work ethic, boundless curiosity and endless questioning of the world around her. Passionate about educating future generations, she envisions using design, branding and strategy as tools to address global challenges collaboratively within the design community. Through mentorship and education, she also seeks to inspire others to tackle these important issues together, leveraging their collective talents for meaningful impact. Ms. Nash encourages readers to visit her webpage amelianash.co to connect with her and learn more about her work.
