BRUSSELS, IL, August 19, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eric D. Friedel has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Friedel's career in the construction industry spans an impressive 30 years, marked by dedication and expertise. He began his professional journey shortly after graduating from high school in 1983, initially working at a small boat shop in Batchtown, Illinois. With the guidance of his father, who was a construction superintendent, Mr. Friedel joined the union and transitioned into laboring and concrete work. By the mid-1980s, he had joined Alberici Constructors, where he would spend the majority of his career.

At Alberici Constructors, Mr. Friedel excelled as a demolition superintendent, a role he held for 25 of his 27 years with the company. His responsibilities included overseeing crews, coordinating support with operators and heavy equipment, managing the demolition of structural elements, and ensuring project timelines were met. Mr. Friedel's expertise in automotive plant demolition across the U.S. is widely recognized, and he is particularly proud of his involvement in constructing the Veterans Memorial Bridge over the Mississippi River in Saint Louis.

Throughout his career, Mr. Friedel traveled extensively for work, contributing to significant projects from Atlanta up the East Coast to locations such as Norfolk, Delaware and Newark. He also worked in Kansas City and across the river from Detroit on car plants in Canada. Despite the demanding nature of his work schedule, which averaged about 2,700 hours annually, Mr. Friedel found enjoyment in all of his experiences.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Friedel has been involved in organizations such as the Boone and Crockett Club, the Rocky Mountain Elk Club and the American Black Hereford Association. These affiliations reflect his passion outside of work.

Mr. Friedel credits much of his success to the strong work ethic instilled in him by his father during his formative years. This upbringing emphasized hard work and perseverance, values that he has since passed on to his son, who has achieved notable success as a project manager at Alberici Constructors.

Deeply committed to his family, Mr. Friedel's demanding career caused him to miss important moments, and he is now focused on making up for lost time with them in retirement. As he continues to embrace family life and share his knowledge with future generations, he remains committed to passing on a legacy of hard work and resilience.
