Mr. Hamidi has established a distinguished career marked by leadership, technical expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement. Since 2022, he has served as a production team member and team leader at Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corporation U.S.A. In this capacity, he is responsible for training members on the related tasks, facilitating communication for training and translation needs inside and outside the company and supporting individuals. He also provides critical support to the assembly line within the engineering department.

During his tenure at Kawasaki, Mr. Hamidi has demonstrated innovation and resourcefulness. He designed and constructed a mobile team leader workstation that combines a working table with two cabinet, tailored initially for his use. The design's strength and spaciousness garnered attention from supervisors and team leaders, leading to requests for additional units for other team leaders. His supervisor recommended standardizing the workstation design for future use across product lines. Additionally, Mr. Hamidi became adept at repairing damaged cars in the painting department without removing parts—a significant achievement given the complexity and value of the vehicles involved. He also led a team in painting over one and a half miles of white lines by hand inside the facility for Kawasaki's 50th anniversary celebration, completing the project within one month.

Before his current role, Mr. Hamidi was a national plant quarantine specialist with the Afghanistan Agricultural Inputs Project under the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in Afghanistan, supported by the World Bank Group from 2018 to 2019. He is currently seeking for a PhD program while holding a master's degree in plant pathology from ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, completed in 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Science in plant protection from Herat University, in 2011, following his high school diploma in 2008.

Mr. Hamidi has further enhanced his expertise through numerous certifications, including The Non-Technical Skills of Effective Data Scientists from LinkedIn Learning in 2022, certificates of completion for technical courses from Afghanistan Agricultural Inputs Project under The World Bank Group in 2019, plant health management, bio-security and quarantine certifications from National Institute of Plant Health Management in Hyderabad in 2018, and negotiation skills certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan in 2014. Mr. Hamidi attributes much of his success to mentorship received during his education, particularly from scientists who served as instructors or collaborators throughout his academic journey. Their guidance fostered his growth at every stage and inspired him to build connections with experts across disciplines.

His contributions have been recognized through several awards: a scholarship for pursuing his master's degree via the Indian Council for Cultural Relations Scholarship awarded by the Government of India in 2015; a certificate of appreciation from Faculty of Agriculture at Herat University in 2011; a gold medal achievement award from Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corporation U.S.A.; and awards from Ministry of Agriculture, and Ministry of Borders in Afghanistan.

He also published a success story "Promoting Awareness of Phytosanitary Treatment through Training programs in Afghanistan" related to AAIP projects. Besides, actively review articles as a peer review member in his field.

In his personal life, Mr. Hamidi values family deeply. He was first married in 2015; that marriage ended amicably in divorce in 2024 due to cultural considerations. He remarried in July 2025 and is devoted to his son, who has autism.

Outside of work, Mr. Hamidi enjoys going to the gym, watching sports such as soccer, walking and traveling.

Looking ahead, Mr. Hamidi aspires to become a respected figure within education, particularly in agriculture and plant pathology. He aims to earn his doctorate degree while advancing research as a scientist within academia or another research-focused setting.
