Ms. Watkins has established herself as a leading figure in the film and television industry, currently serving as the chief executive officer of Dream N 1 Productions, LLC and executive vice president of film and television for Squirrel Vision Network Television, a newly launched network in Las Vegas. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing content acquisition, ensuring quality assurance, managing release schedules, and recruiting new projects to build the network's reputation. Ms. Watkins's vision is to elevate the network to the prominence of major streaming platforms, dedicating her expertise and leadership to its growth and development. Moreover, she manages all aspects of film production, from writing and editing to team oversight and compliance with music licensing organizations, such as BMI and ASCAP. It is essential that she meets critical deadlines for writing submissions while ensuring that all paperwork is filed correctly, so that industry authorities recognize the content.

Beyond her production work, Ms. Watkins has excelled as a screenwriter, with her films now available on Apple TV+, Peacock, Prime Video, and several other streaming platforms. She has also become widely recognized for her work as a television producer specializing in true crime for TVOne, contributing to impactful series such as "Fatal Attraction" and "Payback." These projects allowed Ms. Watkins to connect with families affected by violent crimes, particularly Black families whose stories are often overlooked. By bringing their experiences to national audiences, she ensured their loved ones' legacies were honored.

As an award-winning author since 2011, Ms. Watkins has published several novels, including "No Other Man: A Three Part Tragedy," "Redeye: Book Two in the No Other Man Three Part Tragedy," and "Forever Your Girl (No Other Man, 3)." She expanded her literary portfolio with Halo Publishing International in 2019, releasing works such as "The Alysé Diaries" and "The Killing of Madison McGhee." Furthermore, Ms. Watkins's expertise extends into freelance writing, a pursuit she has maintained since 2014.

Ms. Watkins previously served as a field producer for Jupiter Entertainment from 2023 to 2025, honing her skills in content development and production management. She was also the chief programmer at iElevate Media Group between 2021 and 2023, where she led long-term content coordination efforts. Ms. Watkins's earlier roles included staff writer for MIM Magazine from 2019 to 2020 and content contributor for Revry Inc. between 2017 and 2020. During her tenure at Revry Inc., she became the first Black woman to produce, write, and star in a Revry original series, creating the television series "30 30."

With a career history dating back to 2013, Ms. Watkins began as a head writer for the series "Lighthouse" in 2013 and the web series "Girls Just Don't Do That" in 2015. Subsequently, she served as the director of creative writing and the director of script writing and development at M.PoWeR Productions LLC from 2013 to 2014 and between 2014 and 2016, respectively.

Ms. Watkins's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology and elementary education from Winston-Salem State University in 2007, followed by a Bachelor of Science in writing for film and television from the Los Angeles Film School in 2023, and she is now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in playwriting and screenwriting from Regent University in Virginia Beach. In 2022, she was proudly inducted into the Honor Society of Entertainment Arts. She also completed certifications in women's entrepreneurship through eCornell and film and television industry essentials through Yellowbrick at New York University, where she was recognized in the Yellowbrick top 40 under 40 in 2023.

Ms. Watkins's civic involvement includes serving on the advisory board for a new drive-in movie theater franchise in Georgia, participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters of America's mentorship program and supporting homeless youth shelters as a donor. Additionally, she is a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council.

Throughout her career, Ms. Watkins has demonstrated expertise in writing, producing, and directing, skills that have garnered her recognition as an award-winning author and filmmaker. She made history with her show, "30 30," in Los Angeles, a project developed alongside one of her childhood best friends, who was not previously involved in the industry. Together, they produced two seasons of the show, traveling across the country to raise visibility for their work and provide representation for young women of color in media.

Among Ms. Watkins's many honors, she received Best Director for "Parallel the Documentary" at the Black Queer Film Festival, an Audience Award for "Parallel the Documentary" at the Las Vegas Queer Arts Film Festival, Best Actress for "Don't Tell Nobody" at the Las Vegas Black Film Festival, Best Woman Filmmaker at the Vegas Movie Awards, Network of Outstanding Women Rising Star Award, and a For the Culture Award, NOLA Collective, at the Essence Film Festival. Meanwhile, her writing achievements have earned her numerous accolades, including the #1 LGBT Mystery Book at The BookFest, an International Impact Book Award, and multiple BookFest Awards. Ms. Watkins attributes her success to being blessed with opportunities that align with her hard work and faith.

Ms. Watkins continues to inspire through her dedication to storytelling across multiple platforms, demonstrating that representation matters while paving new paths for future generations of creators. Looking ahead, she remains focused on expanding her network's reach within the entertainment industry while aspiring to earn prestigious honors, such as an Emmy Award, an NAACP Image Award or a GLAAD Media Award.
