Prior to reaching his current position at Sound Decisions, Mr. Alley held the role of project manager from 2020 to 2022. During this period, he played a pivotal role in supporting operational improvements and facilitating company expansion efforts. His transition into this role was influenced by an invitation from his uncle, the owner of Sound Decisions, who recognized his nephew's skill set in management and health care.

From 2019 to 2020, Mr. Alley was the chief operating officer at Anchorage Fracture and Orthopedic Clinic, where he was responsible for overseeing daily operations and implementing organizational strategies that enhanced patient care and clinic efficiency. Earlier in 2019, he held the position of chief project officer, managing key projects aimed at optimizing clinical workflows.

Mr. Alley also spent six successful years as the practice manager at Health Quest Therapy Inc., overseeing business operations and ensuring compliance with health care regulations. His responsibilities during this time included staff management, budgeting and process optimization. From 2010 to 2012, he gained valuable experience as an emergency response specialist with The Response Group, where he coordinated emergency preparedness initiatives and supported crisis management efforts throughout his community. He began his professional journey as a facilities manager at Northgate Alaska from 2007 to 2010, during which he managed facility maintenance and contributed to operational efficiency for the non-denominational church.

Knowing the path he wanted to pursue from a young age, Mr. Alley pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Alaska Anchorage in 2012. To expand his knowledge and qualifications in project supervision, he was certified as a project management professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute in 2024 — a significant milestone due to its rigorous requirements and industry recognition.

Mr. Alley was born and raised in Alaska, where his early years were shaped by the values of service and community. His parents relocated to the state in the 1970s to support the Turning Point Boys Ranch, a rehabilitation center for troubled youth. Although the ranch closed in the early 1980s, his family remained in Alaska, settling in Willow, a small town with a population of approximately 500 at the time. This close-knit environment inspired his commitment to community engagement and personal growth.

Following the shining example set by his parents, Mr. Alley has served as a board member and chair of Reach 907 for six years, focusing on empowering at-risk adolescents across Alaska. He is also a board member at Set Free Alaska, contributing to treatment programs for those affected by addiction. Happily married and a proud father of four children, he enjoys playing music, hiking and spending quality time with his family as a balance to his professional endeavors.

Reflecting on his journey thus far, Mr. Alley attributes his success to the unwavering support of his wife, whose encouragement has been vital during challenging times. Additionally, his work with Reach 907 is influenced by his wife's career as a counselor and their shared commitment to supporting children facing adversity. Looking toward the future with optimism, Mr. Alley aims to expand Sound Decisions beyond Alaska following recent contracts with Disney World in Florida and partnerships involving ConocoPhillips in Texas. His vision includes establishing offices in Houston, Orlando and Phoenix while pursuing substantial revenue growth for the company to ensure its long-term sustainability.
