In 2020, Mr. Almeida expanded his entrepreneurial pursuits by founding HEA Media Group, further diversifying his professional portfolio. He has also been a member of the board of advisors for the College of Business and Public Management at Kean University since 2023. His involvement with Kean University began through guest lectures on leadership, mindset and discipline, which led to an invitation from the president of the Board of Advisors to join as a board member. Additionally, in 2024, he joined the information technology advisory board for the Department of Cybersecurity at County College of Morris, contributing his expertise to academic and industry collaboration.

Prior to these roles, Mr. Almeida was chief executive officer and founder of Almeida Barragán International Co. Ltd. from 1994 to 2015, where he honed his skills in international business development. Concurrently, from 1998 to 2003, he worked as a global sales account manager for the large enterprise team at both Lucent Technologies and Avaya.

Mr. Almeida's entry into the technology and telecommunications field was catalyzed by an opportunity with Matsushita Electric Works (now Panasonic) in the early 1990s, where he built and expanded their Latin American sales operations and distribution from Mexico down into Brazil. This experience as a global technology and telecom executive in LATAM sparked the interest of the telecom giant Lucent Technologies before launching his own companies, first Almeida Barragán International Co. Ltd., then ABItronix (which evolved into Abitronix, LLC in 2002). After leaving corporate America in 2003, he dedicated himself fully to expanding Abitronix's reach across six continents.

Mr. Almeida's educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from Kean University in Union in 1988. Today, he has become a sought-after international keynote speaker and educator, committed to mentoring young entrepreneurs and students. He frequently speaks at universities and is invited by leading multinational corporations and government officials to address global trade conferences on Latin American business and market dynamics. His speaking engagements have included a presentation to Matsushita's executive board in Osaka, Japan, and serving as the honorable guest speaker at the 10th Anniversary of "Líderes a Líderes" in Quito, Ecuador.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Almeida attributes much of his success and work ethic to the influence and support of his parents and wife, as well as personal qualities, such as consistency, self-belief and resilience in overcoming setbacks. The responsibility he assumed at a young age when his father passed away shaped his approach to balancing personal obligations with professional ambitions. He emphasizes that self-funding a business requires adaptability and readiness to pivot, traits that proved vital during periods of rapid change in global economics, technology and market conditions.

Civically involved, Mr. Almeida has served on the board of directors for the Ecuadorian Youth Organization since 2018 and has been a member of the Smart Cities Council since 2019. He joined the board of advisors for the Hispanic Resource Center of Northwest New Jersey and has a longstanding commitment to youth sports, reflected in nearly two decades as a volunteer coach for Mount Olive Soccer Club.

Looking ahead in his entrepreneurial endeavors, Mr. Almeida aims to further grow Abitronix amid ongoing technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence, cloud and security while exploring new ventures related to coffee production and sustainability through his organization, OneALLPA.
