Mr. Andres has established a distinguished reputation as an innovator and leader in the field of fixed income investments, with a career spanning four decades. Most recently, he served as chief investment strategist for Envestnet, where he provided critical market insights and guided investment strategies for a broad client base. Mr. Andres also co-founded Martindale Andres, a buy-side investment management company that managed $2.4 billion in client assets, further cementing his legacy as a forward-thinking leader in asset management.

In addition to these roles, Mr. Andres held the position of national sales manager for municipal securities at both Kidder Peabody and Merrill Lynch. During his 20-year tenure at Merrill Lynch, he ran two of the largest taxable bond trading and underwriting operations on Wall Street. In 1968, Mr. Andres achieved one of his most notable professional milestones by generating in excess 250 million in the products he managed, a feat that remains a point of pride in his career.

Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Andres has been featured in Barron's and Institutional Investor magazine and has appeared in The Wall Street Journal approximately 35 times. He has participated in around 30 television interviews, providing economic and market analysis on networks such as MSNBC, CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox. Mr. Andres' weekly column, "The Andres Review," offered in-depth commentary on the bond market and the Federal Reserve Board's actions, establishing him as a respected voice in financial journalism. He was a member of The Bond Club of Philadelphia, reflecting his ongoing commitment to industry engagement and professional development.

Mr. Andres' academic foundation was laid at Columbia University in New York City, where he studied political science and economics. In addition to his education, he credits much of his professional growth to the mentorship of Frank P. Smeal, a prominent figure who led the municipal bond division at J.P. Morgan before becoming treasurer at J.P. Morgan and later a full partner at Goldman Sachs, overseeing all fixed income operations. Mr. Smeal's guidance was instrumental in shaping Mr. Andres' approach to people management and risk management, qualities that have defined his career. He also gives credit to William Goodman IV for his mentorship early in Mr. Andres career at JP Morgan. Mr. Goodman was assistant head personnel of the bank.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Andres has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement and philanthropy. He serves as chairman of the board for New Jobs for Massachusetts Inc., supporting employment initiatives since 2012. He is also a donor to several charitable organizations, including Veterans Initiatives, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

As an author, Mr. Andres recently completed his autobiography titled "A Different Time. A Different Place. An American Story," which chronicles his journey from a childhood in Woodhaven, Queens, overcoming early adversity, to becoming a transformative figure on Wall Street. The book is dedicated to Mr. Andres' family and pays tribute to his late wife Christine, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage filled with adventure and discovery.

In his personal life, Mr. Andres is passionate about photography, a hobby that has enabled him to capture over 12,000 images of his grandchildren over the years. Looking ahead, he intends to devote more time to his family, especially his grandchildren, while exploring new creative pursuits such as writing short stories.
