HEMET, CA, August 21, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Guillermo Amador Soriano Fregoso, RN, BSN, CNRN, SCRN, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Soriano's career reflects a rare blend of vision, precision, and innovation in the advancement of stroke care. Since 2022, he has served as Primary Stroke Center Coordinator at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning, California, where he was recruited to build an advanced stroke program entirely from the ground up. His leadership brought together a multidisciplinary team, established evidence-based protocols, and secured state-of-the-art imaging technology. Under his guidance, the hospital achieved Advanced Primary Stroke Center certification from The Joint Commission on May 10, 2024—earning only three low-acuity findings, a benchmark achievement in the industry. He further led the hospital to secure a five-year agreement with REMSA, reshaping regional stroke routing protocols and significantly improving patient outcomes.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Soriano coordinated stroke programs at a larger hospital, refining established systems and elevating standards of care. His expertise and results have earned national recognition, including a feature in Men in Nursing 2024 by Working Nurse magazine and the Gold Plus Award from the American Heart Association for excellence in stroke treatment metrics.

Mr. Soriano's journey is one of determination and resilience. Born in Chilapa, Nayarit, Mexico, he came to the United States at age 15. At 22, after receiving Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), he was granted a Social Security number, enabling him to pursue higher education and formal employment. His entry into health care began with volunteer service at a local hospital, followed by work as a patient transporter. Fascinated by medicine and science, he earned certifications in emergency medical services and phlebotomy while working full-time. He advanced to emergency room technician, a role that deepened his commitment to becoming a nurse.

After supporting his family through his sister's illness, Mr. Soriano entered nursing school and began his ER nursing career. Within one year of graduation, his reliability and clinical acumen earned him promotion to charge nurse. His rapid thrombolytic administration times then caught the attention of hospital leadership, leading to recommendations for further leadership roles and expanded responsibilities.

Beyond the hospital, Mr. Soriano has served on the board of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, promoting financial literacy and homeownership opportunities within the Hispanic community. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University—where he received the Capstone Excellence Award—and has completed coursework at Riverside Community College and Mt. San Jacinto College. He is credentialed as a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) and a Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN).

A lifelong learner, Mr. Soriano's curiosity extends far beyond medicine, encompassing quantum mechanics, biology, physics, and the intricate beauty of the natural world. He is a devoted steward of nature and animals, caring for a variety of species within his personal sanctuary, and is building a living legacy project he calls Verde Eternidad. He also values fitness, reading, and personal growth as integral to his professional excellence.

Looking ahead, Mr. Soriano remains committed to advancing stroke care, fostering community health, and growing both personally and professionally. As he and his wife prepare to welcome their first child, he understands that the beauty of life is in the incomprehensible mystery of existence. "Lo que hacemos en vida, resuena en la eternidad!"
