Before being named to his current position at Deloitte, Mr. Omopariola served as an information security analyst for the organization from 2021 to 2022. Earlier, Mr. Omopariola built a substantial foundation in military service with the Nigerian Navy under the Ministry of Defence. From 2003 to 2016, Mr. Omopariola served as a maritime security officer with the Ministry of Defence. During this period, he developed a deep understanding of marine operations and security protocols. He then served on the directing staff from 2017 to 2019 and subsequently as a special operations security consultant until 2021.

Throughout his military tenure, Mr. Omopariola demonstrated a passion for teaching, dedicating considerable time to instructional roles at teaching institutions. He refined his pedagogical approach by learning how to teach in sequences, which has informed his ongoing commitment to professional development and training in security disciplines. Notably, Mr. Omopariola's most significant achievement was leading the development of the military's software training doctrine. He also conducted specialized training for officers and facilitated team assimilation programs to increase awareness and understanding of cybersecurity within the armed forces.

Mr. Omopariola's academic background has been instrumental in shaping his professional trajectory. In 2017, he completed a Master of Arts in defense studies at King's College London. He later acquired a Master of Science in computer software engineering from the University of Westminster in London in 2023. Beyond his degrees, Mr. Omopariola has completed coursework in the advanced command and staff course in military operational art and science/studies at the Joint Services Command & Staff College, as well as cybersecurity coursework at the Master's School. Furthermore, he holds numerous certifications that underscore his commitment to continuous learning and excellence in information security. These include a certified information system security professional from ISC2, a Microsoft certification as an Azure administrator associate, and designation as a certified solutions architect associate from Amazon Web Services, among numerous others.

Mr. Omopariola's expertise is further recognized through his memberships in prominent industry organizations. He is a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute with a focus on military and strategic leadership and is affiliated with the British Computer Society. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Omopariola is actively engaged in civic activities. He participated in crisis management and crisis response planning through the Turkish Partnership for Peace Training Center (NATO-PTC TÜR) in 2015 and continues to serve as an alumnus volunteer for King's College London Alumni since 2023.
