Before joining Lockheed Martin in 2015, Mr. Rayakota held the position of SAP supply chain management specialist at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation from 2014 to 2015. During this period, he contributed to the optimization of supply chain processes within the aerospace sector, leveraging his expertise to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.

From 2006 to 2014, Mr. Rayakota was engaged as an SAP lead consultant and senior business analyst at Daimler Truck North America. In this capacity, he addressed intricate module cores within the automobile industry and played a pivotal role in advancing the company's technological and functional capabilities. His work during this time was instrumental in supporting large-scale implementations that improved business outcomes.

Between 2005 and 2006, Mr. Rayakota served as lead SAP and sales and distribution consultant at Solectron Corporation in Austin, Texas. He is particularly proud of his groundbreaking work on SAP variant configuration modeling for Solectron—a project that set new standards in the contract manufacturing high-tech industry segment. Hired as a contractor to implement variant conservation modeling within SAP, Mr. Rayakota completed the assignment. Solectron's parent company subsequently audited the solution through a rigorous process involving approximately 50 to 60 consultants from around the world who validated its innovative approach.

Mr. Rayakota's earlier experience includes his tenure as an SAP consultant at Sunray from 2003 to 2006, where he contributed to various technology-driven projects. From 1998 to 2002, he worked with AGS as an SAP consultant, further honing his skills in enterprise resource planning systems. Additionally, between 1998 and 2000, he was associated with Continental as an SAP consultant.

His career began in sales and distribution after receiving training in SAP in India. He was fortunate to participate in some of the largest global implementations, including Solectron's integration of twenty-three enterprise resource planning systems worldwide and Daimler Truck North America's complex automotive module cores. Mr. Rayakota also taught at several primary institutions in India following his SAP training.

A notable highlight of Mr. Rayakota's early professional journey was his pioneering work in the hybrid seed industry in India. Tasked by a company owner to study comprehensive business practices and assess the feasibility of implementing new technologies, he developed forward-thinking solutions that were ahead of their time. He presented his findings at the Asia Pacific Seed Association Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. This achievement underscores his commitment to innovation.

Mr. Rayakota's academic background includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in electrical electronics and communications engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University in India. This technical foundation has been integral to his success across diverse industries and roles. In addition to his formal education, he earned a certificate in digital transformation from Harvard University Online in 2025, further enhancing his ability to drive organizational change through technology.

He attributes much of his success to his upbringing, culture and family values instilled by his parents. His father was a veterinary doctor. He also credits his wife for her unwavering support that enabled him to focus on achieving his goals and fulfilling his responsibilities.
