BELLEVUE, WA, August 27, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicholas J. Klein has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Klein currently serves as the chief operating officer of Bellevue Capital Group, a position he has held since co-founding the firm in 2017. Under his leadership, the company has scaled to a team of more than 20 and facilitated more than $2 billion in commercial loan volume across the United States. As the firm's first employee, Mr. Klein helped architect its national lending platform and has continued to drive strategy, lender relationships and operational excellence. His people-first management style and unwavering focus on client success have been instrumental to the company's expansion.

Before establishing Bellevue Capital Group, Mr. Klein served as senior portfolio manager at Summerfield Commercial, where he managed a $300 million real estate portfolio and led a team of more than 40 employees. During his tenure, he spearheaded modernization efforts, digitizing operations and implementing performance-based compensation structures that significantly improved portfolio returns.

Mr. Klein's earlier career reflects a strong foundation in project management, product strategy and entrepreneurship. He held a technical leadership role at Avitech International and co-founded SmartTherms, an energy-tech company specializing in intelligent thermostat systems. His contributions at SmartTherms led the company to the investor round of the University of Washington's Business Plan Competition.

Mr. Klein's roots in real estate date back to 2003, when he began his career at just 20 years old with RE/MAX Platinum Services. There, he quickly rose to prominence, earning both the Rookie of the Year title and the President's Club Award. With a career spanning more than two decades, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to developing real estate assets, optimizing operations and creating value through strategic investment.

An alumnus of the University of Washington, Mr. Klein holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science as well as a real estate broker's license. His early hands-on experience working alongside his father building homes instilled a deep understanding of development fundamentals. He eventually grew a personal investment channel from a single-family home renovation into a $10 million, class-A medical surgery center.

Mr. Klein remains deeply committed to community advancement through philanthropy, actively supporting initiatives such as Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and housing programs for the homeless. Among his most meaningful accomplishments is the successful financial rescue of a distressed $30 million private school development in Bothell, Washington, which was on the verge of foreclosure and undergoing active bankruptcy proceedings. Over an 18-month period, Mr. Klein and his team navigated an exceptionally complex set of challenges, including back taxes, mechanics liens, and environmental risk mitigation, while negotiating reduced penalties and interest with the original lender. He facilitated the strategic purchase of the defaulted note to preserve the deal, coordinated a boundary line adjustment with a partial land sale to recapitalize the project, and safeguarded international equity investors relying on the project to secure U.S. residency through the EB-5 visa program. He also negotiated favorable pricing with a new general contractor who was willing to assume the risk of taking on a project mid-construction and ultimately secured conventional financing to complete the school.

"One of my core values is simple: do right by your clients, work hard and the money will follow," says Mr. Klein.

Outside the office, Mr. Klein is a dedicated husband and father, and mountain biking enthusiast, and a lifelong musician, once even having the unique opportunity to perform rhythm guitar with members of Steppenwolf. Looking ahead, he plans to expand Bellevue Capital Group into a national brand while upholding its founding mission: delivering capital solutions that change lives and build lasting value.
