Recruited from Cisco Systems, a global leader in internet networking, Mr. Wheeler served as a network consulting engineer from 2012 to 2019 and as a Project Manager between 2019 and 2021. He then served as a Program Manager from 2021 to 2023, overseeing multiple programs for Global Fortune 500 companies. Notably, he oversaw a global network initiative for Disney and contributed to the success of multiple service providers such as Comcast, Akamai, Cox Communications and Charter/Spectrum. In addition to his official responsibilities as a Program Manager, Mr. Wheeler also acted as a Service Delivery manager for select accounts, demonstrating versatility and commitment to client satisfaction.

Before his time at Cisco Systems, Mr. Wheeler excelled as a Network Operations Manager at Blue Ridge Communications, Pencor Services Inc., from 2003 to 2012, where he was responsible for overseeing all network operations and ensuring the reliable delivery of service to customers throughout the service area.

From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Wheeler worked as Cable Department Manager at PenTeleData. In this early leadership role, he managed departmental operations and contributed to the growth of local internet services. This formative experience set the stage for his future achievements.

Mr. Wheeler's professional journey began with military service as a Security Forces member in the U.S. Air Force between 1992 and 1996. This foundational experience instilled discipline and a strong work ethic that have remained central throughout his career.

After initially pursuing coursework in business management at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1997, Mr. Wheeler ultimately returned to school, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in management and operations from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester in 2021. He has also earned several industry certifications that underscore his expertise, including as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute in 2020, ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, and SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile Inc., among others.

Mr. Wheeler is an active member of The American Legion, reflecting his ongoing commitment to community engagement. Recognized as an expert in network engineering and security, he consistently demonstrates a pattern of steady advancements through dedication and skill development. He attributes his success to his ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly with both non-technical leaders and highly skilled engineers.
