ARLINGTON, VA, August 29, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christopher Brittlebank has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Currently serving as a data center project manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mr. Brittlebank is a prominent figure in technical infrastructure and construction management. In his role since 2024, he manages approximately four data centers, overseeing the implementation of infrastructure upgrades, mechanical and electrical retrofits and safety enhancements. His responsibilities include integrating advanced materials and technologies to ensure that each AWS facility remains state-of-the-art, secure and capable of delivering optimal service to clients. In addition to finding a career that he both enjoys and excels in — allowing him to make a meaningful impact on his community — he is particularly proud of mentoring new hires and interns, guiding them as they develop their skills and advance within the industry.

Prior to joining AWS, Mr. Brittlebank was an assistant project manager at Rock Creek Property Group from 2023 to 2024, during which he furthered his skills in budget management, project planning and close-out processes. In this role, he contributed to the successful execution of various property development projects, coordinated with stakeholders and ensured that all phases were completed efficiently and to high standards.

From 2019 to 2023, Mr. Brittlebank worked as a project engineer at Clark Construction Group. During his tenure, he played a key role in managing large-scale construction projects, focusing on quality control, resource allocation and adherence to safety protocols. His experience at Clark Construction Group provided him with a strong foundation in project management and technical problem-solving as he coordinated with engineers, subcontractors and architects.

In addition to his vocational roles, Mr. Brittlebank is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), which has enabled him to expand his professional network and stay informed about emerging trends in real estate and infrastructure development. He credits networking as a crucial factor in his career progression, emphasizing its role in building connections across multiple industries and creating opportunities for collaboration.

Mr. Brittlebank's equally accomplished academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, earned in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in engineering physics with a minor in mathematics from Elon University in Elon in 2019. He also holds a diploma from St. John's College in Harare, completed in 2014. Such a rigorous education provided him with a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and analytical problem-solving skills that have been pivotal throughout each stage of his career.

Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, Mr. Brittlebank served as the head of manufacturing for the Haiti Solar Initiative Program at Georgia Institute of Technology, where he led efforts to design and produce solar energy solutions aimed at improving access to reliable power in underserved communities. His leadership during this time significantly contributed to the program's mission of promoting sustainable development through innovative engineering. He was also an assistant project manager at the Institute of Electronics and Nanotechnology, where he managed laboratory operations and facilitated collaboration among multidisciplinary teams while completing his studies.

To augment his professional qualifications, Mr. Brittlebank earned an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-hour certificate and engaged in several courses in project management, infrastructure oversight and power density requirements at Schneider Electric University, all in 2024. Furthermore, he completed the Unconscious Bias program — a leadership awareness course that focuses on the importance of diversity and inclusion — through LinkedIn in 2020.

Along with his education, Mr. Brittlebank attributes much of his success to the support of his fiancée, Mirelle, and the guidance of his adoptive father, Graham Dickens. Mireille's encouragement has been vital in motivating him toward his goals while Mr. Dickens instilled values such as effective communication, respect and decency — qualities that continue to shape Mr. Brittlebank's approach to leadership and mentorship.

Also known for his dedication to civic engagement and community service, Mr. Brittlebank serves as a professional development coordinator on the board of his alumni association at Elon University, where he leads initiatives designed to help graduates navigate job opportunities and achieve career growth. He finds fulfillment in mentoring others, sharing insights and connecting alumni with professionals who can offer specialized industry knowledge. His volunteer activities extend to supporting local food shelters in Arlington, donating to charitable causes and coaching tennis for younger children.

As a balance to his professional and civic endeavors, Mr. Brittlebank enjoys playing golf and embraces adventure by seeking out new experiences such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or skydiving — mirroring his philosophy that one should try everything once before deciding whether it is worth repeating.

In the coming years, Mr. Brittlebank envisions continued growth at AWS with aspirations for advancement into leadership roles where he can further mentor new staff and contribute to employee retention efforts. Together with his fiancée, he aims for financial security that will enable them to give back to their community more substantially and foster a positive environment for their future children. His journey reflects a blend of professional excellence, dedication to mentorship and an enduring commitment to personal growth — a testament to the values instilled by those who have influenced him most throughout his life.
