Mr. Bagan currently serves as Director of Global Intelligence at Bridge Ventures, LLC, a subsidiary of Stripe, Inc. He designed Bridge's Financial Crimes Program and co-led its Compliance Program - initiatives that powered Bridge's rapid expansion and acquisition by Stripe in 2025. In this capacity, he oversees complex financial crime investigations, sanctions compliance, and cross-border risk strategy, ensuring the integrity of global payments.

Prior to entering the private sector, Mr. Bagan served as a U.S. Army Special Forces Officer (Green Beret) with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Lebanese-Syrian border. Recognized for his strategic expertise, he was appointed by the Commanding General of U.S. Army Special Operations Command as the first Special Operations Director at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, a position he held until retiring from active duty in 2024.

While serving in uniform, Mr. Bagan was authorized by U.S. Special Operations Command to pursue advanced education at Stanford University, where he became the only student ever to graduate from Stanford Law School in two years, while simultaneously pursuing a Ph.D. specializing in criminality in the financial technology sector.

His early dedication to service was recognized when the University of Texas at Austin established the Lee Bagan Endowed Scholarship Fund in his honor in 2008. Today, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Green Beret Foundation, and was inducted as a Distinguished Member of the Special Forces Regiment, as well as a life member of the Special Forces Association.

Mr. Bagan's career reflects a lifelong commitment to public service, national security, and the fight against financial crime. He continues to advance these priorities through his leadership at Bridge Ventures and his leadership roles within the Special Forces community.
