DUMFRIES, VA, September 05, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lula Williams Wallace has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Wallace has established a distinguished career in public service, marked by her commitment to servant leadership and her ability to effect lasting change within the United States Department of Agriculture. As the chief of staff for the Office of Customer Experience within the Departmental Administration since 2024, she has led teams on a variety of projects aligned with shifting administrative priorities. In this capacity, Ms. Wallace ensures that policy development is informed by a bottom-up approach, prioritizing the voices and needs of customers over top-down directives.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Wallace served as senior program manager for the Office of Customer Experience beginning in 2022, overseeing major initiatives that improved employee experience and customer satisfaction across the department's diverse agencies. In 2019, she was appointed acting chief of staff for the Office of Customer Experience, during which time she demonstrated adaptability and vision by guiding teams through evolving priorities and ensuring that all projects remained aligned with departmental goals.

Ms. Wallace's leadership was particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she leveraged her expertise in employee experience and food safety to launch the digital "One Stop Shop" toolkit for the USDA's diverse workforce. This innovative resource provided streamlined access to essential policies, tools and guidance, ensuring continuity, connection and clarity for more than 100,000 employees nationwide during a period of unprecedented uncertainty.

From 2014 to 2019, Ms. Wallace held the position of senior program analyst with the Food Safety and Inspection Service at the United States Department of Agriculture, where she contributed to policy development and program analysis that directly impacted food safety standards nationwide. Her career with the United States Department of Agriculture began in 1989 as a program analyst, a tenure that spanned 25 years and laid the foundation for her subsequent leadership roles.

Among Ms. Wallace's most notable achievements is her work as co-chair for the national Fed Feed Families campaign. Recognizing the need for a unified approach among the department's 29 agencies, she spearheaded the "Stuff the Trunk" event, a single-day food drive that resulted in approximately 6 million pounds of food donations and garnered national media attention. This initiative exemplified Ms. Wallace's dedication to sustainable impact and servant leadership.

Ms. Wallace's academic background has played a significant role in her professional success. She completed coursework toward a doctorate degree in strategic leadership at Liberty University in 2018, further enhancing her capabilities in organizational strategy and leadership. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in strategic communications from Liberty University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in humanities from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Wallace is civically engaged as a member of the board of directors for her homeowners association and participates in charitable efforts such as feeding the homeless through her local church. Notably, her contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Service to the Citizen Award in 2025, multiple merit awards, the Secretary's Award for helping to develop policy for small plants, an innovation award from a U.S. General Services Administration hackathon and five Quality Step Increase awards.

Ms. Wallace attributes much of her success to her perseverance, strong faith in Christ, and unwavering commitment to service. She credits the values of resilience, integrity and the importance of giving back, instilled by her late parents, as guiding principles in both her personal and professional life. Throughout her 35-year federal career, she consistently embraced challenges as opportunities for growth, prioritized the voices of employees, stakeholders and the public, and demonstrated an exceptional ability to adapt to cultural, policy and administrative changes while keeping people at the center of her decisions.

Steadfast in her commitment to serving others, whether through government programs or by supporting colleagues within her organization, Ms. Wallace takes pride in knowing that her work has shaped policies that improve lives nationwide. Guided by empathy and a genuine desire to help others, she consistently strives to ensure her actions foster growth and positive outcomes, demonstrating that at the heart of her leadership is a simple but powerful principle: she cares deeply about the people she serves.

Looking ahead, Ms. Wallace plans to retire from federal service at the end of FY 2025 and launch Focus PR Group, a public relations firm co-founded with a partner. The firm will provide branding, reputation management, and strategic communications services to a diverse range of clients, including business startups, nonprofit organizations, and government leaders. With expertise in message development, crisis communications, and customer experience, the firm will help clients strengthen their brands, reframe their reputations, and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.

In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Ms. Wallace is currently writing a fiction trilogy, reflecting her passion for creativity and storytelling alongside her dedication to leadership and service.
