GRANDVIEW, TX, September 08, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bonnie Hawkins-Jordan, M.Ed., M.A., M.Div., has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Hawkins-Jordan has established herself as a distinguished professional in the fields of spiritual and clinical care. With over 20 years of experience, she currently serves as a pastor, chaplain and clinical mission integration specialist at Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South, a position she has held since 2017. In this role, she provides spiritual care and offers communion when requested at clinics, while also acting as a speech-language pathologist at another facility. Her dual expertise allows her to address both the physical and spiritual needs of her patients, offering therapeutic and holistic outcomes for treatment goals and sharing the gospel in a compassionate manner.

In addition to her current role, Ms. Hawkins-Jordan has been a speech-language pathologist at The Learning Center of Hope, AMN Healthcare, and other travel therapy companies since 2005. She also holds a similar position as a PRN speech-language pathologist with Texas Health Resources, where she has been involved since 2005. Her work in these roles involves advanced therapeutic techniques to help patients who have suffered the effects of a stroke, traumatic brain injuries, or other pathologies regain their abilities to speak and improve their cognition, as well as those with dysphagia regain their ability to swallow. Her approach is holistic, ensuring that patients feel heard and spiritually supported.

Ms. Hawkins-Jordan's career is marked by significant achievements and accolades. She has received honors as a Toastmaster and awards for directing children's choirs and ministries, as well as awards for story-telling, puppetry and ventriloquism which "makes lessons come alive". Additionally, her dedication to her professions is evidenced by her membership in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Association for Professional Chaplains, and the Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries.

Academically, Ms. Hawkins-Jordan earned a Master of Divinity from Andrews University in 2022, an accomplishment that complements her roles in spiritual care. She also holds a Master of Arts in speech-language pathology, obtained in 1982, and a Master of Education in language-learning disabilities, completed in 1975. Her educational foundation was also advanced with an associate degree in communication as an American Sign Language interpreter to better serve the deaf and hard of hearing communities. In addition to the above-mentioned degrees, Ms. Hawkins-Jordan completed five units of Clinical Pastoral Education for chaplaincy and has just been recognized as a Board-Certified Chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains.

Ms. Hawkins-Jordan's personal philosophy is deeply rooted in her faith and the influence of her parents and teachers who instilled perseverance and a "can-do" spirit in her. She attributes her success to the power of God, which she believes provides her with the energy to accomplish great things while bringing glory to Him. This foundation guides her professional endeavors and personal life, where she strives to maximize her talents for the benefit of others. She is very proud of raising her children to love God and be God-fearing.

Beyond her professional commitments, Ms. Hawkins-Jordan is actively involved in various civic organizations as a volunteer with Adventist Chaplaincy Ministry, the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Plaza community theater and East Cleburne Community Center. She has also been recognized with the "Mother of the Year" award for her dedication to family life and hosts the "Jewel and Friends" YouTube channel.

In her personal life, Ms. Hawkins-Jordan enjoys creating costumes, participating in community theater, tutoring, reading, hiking, biking, traveling, line-dancing, collecting international dolls, singing, writing puppet scripts, sewing and learning new languages. Looking ahead professionally, she plans to publish books and expand her presence on platforms like YouTube through educational videos, and podcasts. She aims to pass on her knowledge to future generations by coaching and mentoring others regarding self-improvement and mental health strategies through public speaking engagements and various media platforms.
